KEEP ON PUZZLING!
We think Treasure Trails are great fun and right up an escaper’s street. You get a set of clues that take you on a mystery tour of a local town, finding its hidden secrets and learning its story as you go. A Treasure Trail typically involves a two hour stroll with you unravelling clues to the route along the way. Treasure Trails are self-guided and each has a theme – murder mysteries, treasure hunts or spy trails. A Treasurer Trail booklet costs £6.99 (download or get it in the post) and is suitable for 2 to 5 people. Bigger groups can buy two booklets, start at different points and see who solves the mysteries first.
There are Treasure Trails for the local towns Wetherby, Knaresborough and Tadcaster (www.treasuretrails.co.uk)

OUR ESCAPE ROOMS
Out of the blue you receive a solicitor’s letter saying you may be an heir to African adventurer, Sir Henry Cunningham, owner of the mysterious South Lodge. There’s a trail of clues in Sir Henry’s old study: can you follow his journey of discovery in Africa and prove yourself a worthy heir?
Sir Henry stumbled upon an amazing discovery on his travels through Africa and brought it back to his old laboratory to unravel its secrets. It proved a dangerous and difficult task – dangers and difficulties you’ll have to overcome to learn the mystery of his laboratory and escape to tell the tale.
Re-discovering Sir Henry’s journey, you stumble across a poachers’ camp in the African wilderness. The poachers are away trapping animals for sale to private zoos, but they’ll be back soon. Can you foil the poachers, free a captured game ranger and escape before the bad guys return?
