 Verified Brilliant escape room, best in Yorkshire
This was our 3rd visit to Kanyu, we did Lightning in a Bottle room. It was brilliant! The best escape room we have done. Loads of puzzles, Bob was a great host. We can’t wait to visit again.

A really fun experience for all. We went as a large family group including grandparents and teenage grandchildren - and all really enjoyed it. The organisation was excellent and the staff very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended

My husband and I did follow in my footsteps this week. It was our first escape room so we had no idea where to start. It was loads of fun with the right amount of guidance and tips. We made it by the skin of or teeth and will be back to try the others. We really enjoyed it!

We came for a family day out and had a great time! John was our room host and did a brilliant job, had a great sense of humour and gauged how much help we needed really well! The room was great, very clever and a tough challenge. Highly recommend a visit!

We are normally open Thursday to Sunday inclusive, but will be open 7 days a week during school holidays. We will also be open on bank holidays except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day. Our first games start at 11am and the last begins at 7pm. Please see the booking system for available sessions.

Staff Bonding/Team Building

Kanyu Escape offers fun staff bonding or team building tailored to your requirements from single games through to half day or full day events for up to 22 players. For half and full day events, you have exclusive use of the venue, which is very easy to find at junction 45 of the A1(M) between Wetherby and Boston Spa. Catering can be arranged and there is free on-site parking. Please call to discuss your requirements and we’ll do our best to meet them.
